Buzz Homebody (Joe Budroe)
Bass guitar, lead and backing vocals

Joe has been a fixture on the Worcester–Boston music scene for decades, first as the lead singer and bass player in the original rock band CHAOS, and later as part of Sidewalk Therapy. For more than 15 years, he stepped into the shoes of Paul McCartney as the bassist and vocalist for the Beatles tribute band Beatles For Sale. He also plays bass with the acoustic rock trio The Soul Doubts.  With The Traveling Homebodies, Joe keeps the low end steady while adding his signature vocals and harmonies to the mix.

At home, Joe shares life with his wife and three cats and a collection of bass guitars he swears he’s going to thin out one of these days (though none of them ever seem to leave).  And since he hosts band rehearsals, Joe really does get to stay home for the music — proof that some homebodies have it all figured out.

E.Z. Homebody (Mike Cenedella)
Lead guitar, lead and backing vocals

Mike has been playing in bands since his early teens, co-founding the original rock group CHAOS with friends before moving on to projects like Sidewalk Therapy and Touched, as well as supporting various recording artists.  Alongside Joe and Steve, he also rounds out the acoustic rock trio The Soul Doubts, adding guitar and vocals with his easygoing style.

When he’s not making music, Mike enjoys traveling with his wife and catching live shows from the other side of the stage.  At home, you’ll probably find him entertaining the family dogs or down in basement tinkering with another guitar on his workbench.

Stumbles Homebody (Mike Christian)
Drums, lead and backing vocals

Mike has been keeping the beat since 1982, making his mark on the Worcester–Boston scene as the self-trained drummer for the original rock band CHAOS through the ’80s and ’90s. He’s also powered the rhythm sections of local favorites Steppin’ Out and Sidewalk Therapy, and spent over 15 years holding down the backbeat as “Mingo” with the award-winning Beatles tribute band Beatles For Sale. These days, whether he’s driving the groove with The Traveling Homebodies or playing in his church band, Mike’s steady timing and unshakable feel are always front and center.

When he’s not behind the kit, Mike can be found working around the house or spending time with his wife. With both kids out on their own, he’s free to play                 as loud as he wants,  even if the only ones listening are the neighbors.

Zig Homebody (Steve Caisse)
Acoustic guitar, lead and backing vocals

Steve has been playing guitar for more than 40 years, performing everywhere from theater pits and jazz combos to experimental projects and acoustic rock outfits. For over 15 years he was the lead guitarist in Beatles For Sale, New England’s acclaimed Beatles tribute band, and he now also plays with Joe and Mike in the acoustic rock trio The Soul Doubts.

When he’s not on stage, Steve is happiest puttering around in his basement recording studio, chasing new sounds on old guitars. A true homebody, he enjoys life with his wife, catching up with his now-grown daughters, and more recently, learning his way around the pedal steel guitar.
